New faces welcome at Foden's Youth

Tuesday 4 January, 2022

As it begins 2022, the National champion band of Great Britain is inviting more young players to join in the fun at its youth and junior bands.

Based in Sandbach, Cheshire, the Foden’s Youth and Junior bands meet 10 times per year, with tutors and conductors from Foden’s providing guidance and inspiration for the young musicians.

The year 2022 is a significant milestone, marking the 10th anniversary since the formation of the Foden’s Youth Band with a new commission from Jonathan Bates to feature Foden’s, Foden’s Youth and Foden’s Junior Bands performing on stage together in July.

Budding members should be: Junior Band (grade two-five standard and age 18 or under); Youth Band (grade five-plus and age 21 or under).

More information is at the Foden's Band website.
