Black Dyke on bandstand tour

Wednesday 23 June, 2021

As lockdown restrictions begin to ease and musicians return to live performance, Black Dyke Band has embarked on a summer bandstand tour.

Supported by the Culture Recovery Fund, the events are seeing the Queensbury band perform at a range of venues until July 17. Due to social distancing restrictions, only half the band will perform at each venue, giving Black Dyke the opportunity to perform a number of arrangements which have been commissioned for reduced ensembles. These arrangements have also been made possible through funding from the Arts Council as part of the Culture Recovery Fund and are available to purchase through the band’s website.

Several local bands have been invited to share the podium with Black Dyke as part of the bandstand tour, which kicked off recently in Queensbury and Halifax.
