Tenor horn star Sheona Wade set for BBE webinar

Thursday 7 January, 2021

Brass players are being given the perfect opportunity to dust off their instruments and regain some motivation for the year ahead thanks to a webinar led by tenor horn soloist, Sheona Wade.

The performer is one of several Besson artists involved in the series, which is designed to encourage and develop the skills of brass players and bands. The webinar will take place on Thursday, January 14 at 7pm on Zoom, so attendees can interact and ask questions. Broadcast fortnightly, the webinars will focus on different elements of performance, artistic direction and band governance, and will be delivered by members of the Brass Bands England team and a range of guests, including a number of Besson artists.

The session is free for BBE members and £5 for non-members. More information on band or individual membership can be found at the BBE website. After the session, attendees are invited to the BBE ‘Pub’ for an informal chat. Hot and cold drinks are encouraged. Any questions can be directed to Brass Bands England’s education and development coordinator Sarah Baumann:
