A spokesperson for Kirkintilloch Kelvin Brass said: "Although there many fine musicians who applied to fill the vacancy, we believe that Chris is the ideal person to help us improve and grow as a musical unit.

"KKB is also delighted to be working with Tom Wyss, who is taking us to the Scottish Championships in March. Tom is well known in the brass band world and has a fantastic amount of experience, as well as being a wonderful musician.
